Before Joey started his Real Estate career, he graduated from the South Carolina Highway Patrol Academy in Columbia, SC in 1984. During that time as a Highway Patrol Trooper, Joey gained knowledge of state laws while working closely with magistrates, attorneys, and courthouse officials. Joey gained a new respect for the citizens of Spartanburg County. This led to a growing desire to help others and apply his passion to the business world. Since then, Joey has served as Vice President of a finance company for over 20 years. He has managed 39 offices with daily operations including training, writing policy, computer programing, and public relations. His ability to multi-task and manage people will help provide outstanding service for his real estate clients. Joey's goal is to provide you with a great experience when buying or selling your home. He brings professionalism, exceptional service, and knowledge of the upstate to each of his clients.

Joey grew up in Spartanburg County and currently lives with his wife, Ginger, on Lake Bowen. They are active members of New Spring Church in Spartanburg, SC. His wife Ginger is a Speech-Language Therapist at Shoally Creek Elementary School, in District 2. Most evenings Joey and Ginger enjoy the local restaurants and taking long rides on their pontoon boat with their dog Phebee.
